Description

PAUSA is a collection of seven small sculptural wall pieces that stems from the observation of quiet human gestures: sitting, resting, leaning, waiting. Each figure appears suspended in a moment of stillness, placed on a vertical architectural base that acts as both pedestal and fragment of space.

The collection explores the dialogue between body, volume, and silence. The elongated figures are reduced to essential forms, without facial features or literal detail, allowing posture and gesture to become the main language of each piece. Their presence is intimate, contemplative, and slightly totemic.

The bases introduce a mineral, textured surface created with a cement-based hand-applied finish, while the figures are painted with real metallic pigments. Bronze, oxide, and verdigris tones emerge through the surface, creating subtle variations and giving each figure an aged, almost archaeological character.

Designed as wall-mounted sculptural objects, the seven PAUSA pieces can be displayed together as a complete composition, creating a quiet rhythm on the wall. They do not seek to represent specific identities, but states of presence: rest, balance, introspection, and stillness.

PAUSA COLLECTION
PAUSA is a collection of sculptural wall figures that explores the poetic dimension of stillness. Each piece captures a different human gesture, translated into a clean and timeless sculptural language. The collection moves between architecture and body, digital creation and hand-finishing, silence and presence. Small in scale but strong in character, the pieces are conceived as contemplative objects—quiet, intimate, and enduring.

Hand-crafted and made to order
Each piece is produced on demand in our studio in Benissa, Spain. The creations take shape through an innovative manufacturing process: digitally designed and 3D printed, then carefully finished by hand, blending technological precision with artisanal craftsmanship.

Materials & Process
The bases and figures are 3D printed in PLA, a plant-based material derived from natural compounds. The bases are then hand-finished with a cement-based mineral mixture, creating a raw, textured surface with an architectural and stone-like presence.

The figures are painted by hand with real metallic pigments, producing bronze, oxide, and verdigris tones that vary naturally from piece to piece. This process highlights the dialogue between digital fabrication, mineral texture, and slow hand-finishing. Our 3D Printing Lab is fully powered by solar energy, minimizing environmental impact.

Customization
Each collection is made to order. Slight variations in tone, texture, and metallic oxidation are part of the handmade character of each piece.

Care Instructions
Our pieces are made from a natural material sensitive to heat; therefore, they should be protected from direct sunlight or placed near heat sources above 45 °C to preserve their qualities. They are intended exclusively for indoor use in domestic or comparable environments such as homes, offices, retail, hospitality, etc. Avoid high humidity and condensation.
