Description

GIRO originates from the reinterpretation of an archetypal object linked to play and collective memory: the spinning top. Its form is translated into a stable, contained sculptural volume, where formal balance coexists with a strong material presence, moving away from the idea of a simple container and into the realm of a design object.
The finish introduces a direct intervention on the surface: a real iron oxide effect created using authentic iron powder and other minerals that oxidize naturally. This artisanal process generates a living surface, with chromatic variations, depth, and unrepeatable nuances, making each piece unique.
Conceived both as a vase and as a standalone decorative object, GIRO does not seek prominence through excessive form, but through materiality. A silent, grounded presence that brings character, visual weight, and an honest relationship with time and natural processes into the space it inhabits.

Hand-crafted and made to order
Each piece is produced on demand in our studio in Benissa, Spain. The creations take shape through an innovative manufacturing process: digitally designed and 3D printed, then carefully finished by hand, blending technological precision with artisanal craftsmanship.

Materials & Process
Our pieces are 3D printed using a biodegradable material derived from natural compounds. They then undergo a meticulous hand-finishing process, where blends of real iron powder and minerals are applied to activate an authentic oxidation on the surface, highlighting the dialogue between technology, craftsmanship, and matter.
Our 3D Printing Lab is fully powered by solar energy, minimizing environmental impact.

Care Instructions
Our pieces are made from a natural material sensitive to heat; therefore, they should be protected from direct sunlight or heat sources (above 45 °C) to preserve their qualities. Intended exclusively for indoor use in domestic or comparable environments (homes, offices, retail, hospitality, etc.). Avoid high humidity and condensation.
