The story behind By Lucía

Lucía is a multidisciplinary designer crafting a conversation between form and function in her own visual idiom. From a very young age, she saw the world as a drawer of treasures: papers, threads, a piece of wood, surfaces begging to be tried… anything could become a universe made with whatever was at hand. Over time, that outlook evolved into a practice at the intersection of graphic design and interior design, a combination that now shapes her process and guides every piece she creates.
At the heart of her process lies a search for balance, harmony and composition. She conceives her works as more than a mere image: an ongoing inquiry into color, texture and materiality, designed to inhabit interiors that convey serenity.

Where craft meets technology

While renovating her own home, Lucía discovered how 3D design could transform the atmosphere of spaces. What began as practical solutions evolved into wall pieces, lamps and sculptural objects that combine digital thinking with artisanal finishing. She began applying these pieces to her interior projects and, seeing their potential, decided to go further and create her own creative line: By Lucía.
What initially began as a single idea became a collection of pieces with soft, refined lines. Today, her studio focuses on 3D-created works for interiors, continually exploring the meeting point between craft, technology and spatial design.
Her pieces are 3D-printed with sustainable materials and then hand-finished using mixed techniques, always seeking tones, textures and finishes that evoke natural materials. Technology adds depth and dimension to her works, while craft subtly brings each piece to life.
